- Decorate a school Christmas tree
- Invite a guest artist to speak
- Visit an art museum
- Have an artist birthday party
- Host a local art competition
- Host an art exhibit
- Have a picnic or bar-b-que
- Have an honors night
- Paint pumpkins for Halloween
- Help with stage decorations for a school musical
- Travel to art centers: Chicago, New York, Paris
- Invite another school to share a workshop or speaker
- Participate in the Special Project Exhibit
- Attend State Convention
- Learn new art skills and techniques
- Host an art fair
- Make door decorations for a health care center
- Decorate cake and cookies
Fund-Raising

- Make and sell Christmas ornaments
- Hold an art auction
- Host a children's art workshop
- Sell school spirit t-shirts
- Sponsor a "Rent-a-Student-Or-Teacher Day" (Renter's books are carried
to class, lunch is fed to them, songs are sung to them, etc.)
- Have a car wash
- Babysit at ball games
- Have a Halloween party for young children
- Have a game booth at a carnival
- Paint faces
- Hold an edible art party
- Have a bake sale with decorated baked goods near a holiday
- Sell flowers
- Paint a mural
- Sell food at a sports activity
- Sell cookie dough at Christmas time
- Sell pizzas
- Host a spaghetti dinner
- Apply for a grant
- Sponsor a Match Making fundraiser Computer Fun
Promotion
- Write news releases
- Write letters to the local newspaper editor
- Have articles and art work published in school newspapers
and parent newsletters
- Contact radio or television with feature story ideas about the arts
- Involve parents by inviting them to class, to meetings, or to chaperone events
- Give reports of activities at school board meetings
- Talk with administration about your activities
- Give treats to teachers and administrators as a thank you for their support
- Design art club bookmarks to be given away at a public or school library
- Explain your goals to the school counselor
- Send letters and or drawings to parents, school boards, etc.
- Ask parents or businesses to display art work
- Give recognition awards to people who contribute
- Make refrigerator magnets that say "I support Art"
- Give talks, slide shows, hands-on projects, etc. at PTA's, Woman's Club, etc.
- Host an art exhibit in a public place such as a bank, library, or shopping mall
- Invite VIP's to your art events
- Participate in state organizations that promote art (see "Links to other Art Sites"
listed later on this page)
- Host a mini art conference and invite schools that don't have an ISAA-Rembrandt Society

Community Service
- Make favors or decorations for a health care center or hospital
- Make puppets and put on a puppet show for a health care center or hospital
- Paint and give away Halloween pumpkins to a health care center or hospital
- Volunteer to help with a local charity organization
- Volunteer art skills to paint murals in your community
- Paint faces at a charity fund-raiser
- Volunteer to help with an art exhibit sponsored by another organization
- Volunteer to make Christmas ornaments, jewelery, etc. for charity fund-raisers
- Collect funds for someone in need
- Send drawings and letters to sick and shut-in residents
- Donate art materials to children in low-income families
- Volunteer art skills to help other organizations make posters, banners, etc.
